Hi there! Thanks for dropping in! We’re excited to help you get started and we promise to make this as easy as we can! If you have any questions along the way, please drop us a line on hello@integry.io. This is the engineering guide and covers technical aspects of integrating with Integry and does not cover other key aspects such as marketing and product.

About Us

Integry is an integration platform that provides integrations inside your app for your users. For example, your users can connect your app to Slack to send notifications. The whole process might seem cumbersome, but believe me after a few initializations your app will be up and running. There are few steps to get you up and running with Integry, these steps are discussed in detail below:

1. Register Your App
2. Create Templates
3. Add the integration

1. Register Your App

Yes, before you get started lets register your app with Integry. Login to our Web App and start integrating! The registration of your app requires app’s basic info, API details, credentials, actions and triggers for templates and a few initializations. Once you have registered your app with us, it is available to other apps on our platform and vise versa.

2. Create Templates

Templates are the workflows of your integrations, they are the combinations of actions and triggers. We provide a large number of applications that you can connect to. It consists of two end points:

Trigger: A trigger is an event which starts from your app and can then send data to other apps. For example: if your app is a task management app then a trigger can be Task Created. We can then add another step like Push Message to Slack Channel or Create Google Calendar Event; both these steps will be triggered after the Task Created trigger. Other events that can be triggers are Update or Delete. If you don’t have an API created in your app yet, we’ve written this guide to help you create a basic push API.

Action: An action is a step we can execute on your app. For example: in a task manager, an action can be to Create Task or Update Task. An action cannot be the first step in an integration, and it is started by Integry on your platform. For example, an integration could be to Create Tasks (an action on your app) from Slack Messages (trigger).

A template can be any combination of two apps. So, once you have figured out your actions and triggers you can create your own templates and add it to your app for your users.

Save your template and voila, it is added to our widget in your app.

3. Add the integration

Once the template has been created, the widget inside your app is updated. The template is added to the list of integrations for your users. This is the widget displaying all available integrations.

Your user can select their required integration and setup it. Once the user selects an integration, it authorizes with the other app and then the integration is up and running.

Creating integrations was never this easy before,  Register, Create and Setup!!
